We’re the Ortegas — a family-driven team made up of two brothers and our father: Dan Ortega Sr., Dan Ortega Jr., and Uzi Ortega. What started over 12 years ago as a remodeling service for real estate investors has grown into a mission-led investment and renovation company rooted in faith, hard work, and legacy.
Our journey began in the trades, where we completed hundreds of residential renovations, gaining hands-on experience in everything from demolition to high-end finishes. Over time, we transitioned from simply doing the work to owning the process, learning to invest, manage, and build long-term value through real estate.
About Us – Built with Purpose
At Ortega Flips, we don’t just remodel homes — we carry on a legacy. Our first company was named Bezalel & Oholiab LLC, after two artisans chosen by God to build the tabernacle in the wilderness (Exodus 31). While Bezalel filled with the Spirit of God, worked with gold, silver, bronze, precious stones, wood, fine linens, leather, and rare skins — materials of beauty and purpose. His creativity was not random but guided, intentional, and deeply meaningful. Oholiab was just as important — a master craftsman from the tribe of Dan, known for his skill, loyalty, and ability to work with others. Oholiab wasn’t just talented — he was trusted with sacred work.
The tribe of Dan, Oholiab’s lineage, played a powerful role in Israel’s construction efforts. Danites were skilled builders and craftsmen, often leading in metalwork, woodwork, and sacred architecture. It’s no coincidence that our father’s name is Israel, and we see our work as a continuation of that same spirit of service — building spaces with meaning and care, no matter the budget or background.
We also carry leadership within our name. Just like Uzi, a leader in Israel mentioned in 1 Chronicles 7:2, our own Uzi is hands-on in the business. His leadership style reflects wisdom, clarity, and strength — qualities that guide every decision we make.
